Consent

Our principle: A person should understand what is being shared and should remain in control of whether it stays public.

Before submitting

The uploader must confirm that the contributor is at least 65 years old and has agreed to have the submitted advice published publicly.

Family-assisted submissions

A family member, friend, caregiver, or other helper may assist with recording or uploading. The helper must still have the contributor's permission to submit the content publicly.

What consent covers

Consent allows 10 Seconds of Wisdom to host, display, moderate, and share the submitted video or written advice through the project.

Changing your mind

Consent is not permanent. The contributor may request removal later. A verified request takes the submission out of public view and permanent deletion is completed within 72 hours.

Respect first

No comments or downvotes are provided. Submissions are moderated before publication, and content may be rejected or removed if it is abusive, deceptive, unsafe, promotional, or inconsistent with the purpose of the project.
